TIENDADERECHA presents: Friday, February 25 at 20:00 pm, TWO VISIONS TO Chatroulette an exhibition of Cora and Vinicius José Enrique Doza. The sample can trace the beginnings, popularization and fall of CHATROULETTE.COM (Andrey Ternovskiy, 2009), video-based website in which the partners are connected together at random. Its ephemeral nature is what drives these artists to record their experience within the platform using two different tools, the quick draw and screenshots.
José Vinícius Cora meets several series of drawings in the first stage of Chatroulette, when operating without filters for content selection user. These sessions generated a file of small portraits of the various windows in the language of gestures and middle frames themselves. The content of the drawings is determined by the attitude of those who are being drawn in real time. Enrique Doza
presented six posters and two compilation books, made with screenshots from the beginning until today. These photographic collections are organized daily sessions and a series of themed images. Is again a reflection on the nature, type and behavior of users of this site and its development over time.
