Short Messages Congratulation For Baby Arrival

not embrace, or confession of an orphaned

promised translation of English text:

When a few weeks ago I started to write the relations of the races for F1 Girls Like Too , solemnly promised Sam [author blog GLFT] that I'll never be biased. However, not promised that I would not approached some things personally. Now it's time to be a personal . I have no intention or ambition to be a wise and imaginative discovery. My only goal is to share some feelings that accompany me every year in early May.

With the impending end of April I decided to sit down and write some simple sentences about Ayrtonie sleepily. But where to start? Even for a moment has not passed through my head to write about his achievements and life. This deal Encyclopaedists and biographers, and I am neither one nor the other. He then came to the conclusion that the most important thing about Senna was not alone achieve it. This does not mean that they were invalid, but rather that his greatness lay in his character and attitude and not in numbers alone, won races and scored pole position. Thus the answer to the question about the phenomenon of Senna is not in the results as such (which can be tedious to enumerate like menus in restaurants), but rather in its elusive, difficult to describe the character (which has enabled him to achieve so much). I thought, therefore, that simply captures this character.

sleepy I could not watch because I was too young then, and barely knew what a F1. Lack of adequate transmission or not helped. Raphael described watching F1 in Poland in the late 80s: What was cheering ...?. Only access to Eurosport, RTLu - from virtually zero knowledge of foreign language. Any photos or articles Senna was only available in German Sport Bildzie and sometimes in the magazine Auto International. The other materials did not have access.

alone Without any memories of Senna, I started to browse through old recordings of his races, listen to interviews with him, to seek the opinions of others about it or just read about his life. I knew that Wikipedia did not give me an answer to the question about the phenomenon of sleepy, but I still naively believed that I could capture its spirit. So I decided to ask for help to his fans.

asked Jose, a long F1 fan from Spain, to write a few words about dreamily, as seen during the races Brazilian. He chose one of the most controversial moments, namely Japan GP 1990, about which he wrote:
I distinctly remember the discussion that took place days before the race, after qualifying. Senna started from pole position and wanted the conversion of starting places, because, as everyone knows, on this track is not the first pole was on the racing line. FIA (JM Balestre) has not agreed to a proposal to the drivers and it was decided that the starting grid will remain unchanged.
remember Senna said: "I will not let Prost [started from P2] overtook me in the first corner. I will start from pole position and the first will come the first corner. period. "
I thought to myself: 'OK, haunted ... not cause an accident, try to attack the first corner, and as he did not come out, try to advance later in the race. "
But Ayrton said that he will not give up position and do not lie. He went straight in at the first corner, which both dropped out of the race, Senna won the title. Since then, I watch F1 with a different perspective. It was shocking. When Ayrton thought that doing the right thing, he was able to do anything.

Paul mentioned fierce rivalry with Alain Prost, and Linda from Australia said: drove dangerously, not too much care about rules, racing was his passion.

Words such as shocking, controversial, but also the absolute best, phenomenal, inspired returned without a break in the majority opinion and citations, and buzując resounding in my head. Ironically - the more I read and listened to a sleepy, the more confused I felt. Theoretically, perfectly understand that excellence Senna outshone its controversial nature, or otherwise: that the controversy was an indispensable part of his prominence (in the end always thought that nice guys are not multiple world champions, and each must be great to some extent, absolute). And so when asked about Senna fans will repeat Nobody Lauda: was the best driver, which is ever born. But asked about specific memories, the fans will choose the most controversial (next run over 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix with a broken gearbox or victory in the rain in the 1993 European GP at Donington Park).

Any mention of my request Senna expressed the hope that I helped. Helped me a lot (and I'm you grateful for it all), but not directly, but rather (contrary to expectations) in a manner exactly the opposite. Reading the memories of Senna's fans, understand fully a cruel and inevitable truth - never captured. I will never understand the phenomenon of the driver, who was so wonderful, that delighted fans of his most dangerous rivals, which aroused enormous controversy, and yet it is remembered because of his talent (and ruthlessness controversy appear only in second place), and whose tragic death only intensified the already large legend *. I know that I do not know how much I tried, I never do not fully understand. And it is not about my mental capacity or knowledge of F1, but rather that the world simply could not watch the racing Senna. I therefore ask the fans for the fan their memories (and probably will keep doing it), I wait impatiently for the premiere of the film Senna, I watch the umpteenth time racing and all possible interviews with Senna or read tons of reviews on it ... I can get acquainted with his inspired comments, like the one about feeling like I was riding tunnel, like a man possessed, at a different level of consciousness [...] in an endless spiral. Faster and faster, closer and closer to the ideal. Shivers pass me on the back, when I listen to these opinions, I am struck impossible to describe the strength of such a finding, but all this will never be enough.

problem remains - still know the outcome of each race or controversial situation, so there is no emotional factor. I will always be missing one small but crucial things - the end of surprise and the unknown (whether positive or negative). And that's shocking decision to win the championship at any cost and deliberately collide with a rival, does not so shocking for me - after all, I know that Senna did it, I saw Michael Schumacher executing a similar movement, and although they are not effected in the method drivers today and so I already know that such a thought in someone's head might dawn. I am sure that in my generation will be a lot of supporters who will say that Senna was great - a dot - and they are well understood. However, I am convinced that we (I mean the fans who started watching F1 after 1994) never fully grasp the phenomenon of Ayrton. Senna viewers I always say that his death was an incredible tragedy and great loss. But I feel a great emptiness in my heart kibicowskim, which is not empty impossible to fill. It is a condition similar to the feelings of orphans, who do not know their parents. Like a child who never learned the father, can I ask endless questions hundreds of Ayrton and get as many answers as soon as it freezes itself, but even the whole theory of the world does not compensate for my lack of experience. I love F1 and I think that we are now fortunate to watch an incredibly talented generation of drivers, but some of my formułowego heart remains empty. There, you can find the spirit of Senna, who even 17 years after his death is still present in F1, whether in such a tangible thing as security (which, though always important, it has become even more important after the May 1994 ), in the memories of fans in the yellow helmet of Lewis Hamilton, or his nephew, Bruno.

Some time ago I came across a picture that accompanies this entry. Since then, serves me as a desktop background of your computer. 1991 Brazilian GP I looked, I thought (just) that Ayrton was an amazing driver and closed the browser. He then looked into his eyes sleepy peeking at me from the monitor, looked at the sad face the boy next to him and realized that this boy is a F1 - squeezing a big yellow helmet in his tiny little hands, a helmet, which, to paraphrase Senna, hides his feelings, which can not be replaced **.

* I always thought that Senna is kind of the equivalent of a knight. worst thing that could happen was the death knight in the elderly in the comfort of my bedroom, since every self-respecting knight should die in battle, as befits a hero. Senna himself once said: If I ever had an accident, which will cost me life, I hope I die on the spot. I do not want to ride in a wheelchair. I would not be in the hospital because of any injuries. If I live, I want to live fully, intensely, because that is all I am. Life only partially destroy me.
And so it happened.
** The exact quote from Senna: never understand feelings of the driver winning the race. Helmet hides feelings that can not be understood.

To be precise: a big thank you to (in alphabetical order): José, Linda, Liz, Margo, Paul, Raphael, and Sam.

PS text is simple, but when you compare its length to the amount caused by emotions, it turns out that it was not easy for me to write it.
